July 24th ~ July 30th

·      Wednesday: Meet here at the church at 7pm. We are having Sister Sisam come and do the crafts that were done at Girls Camp. According to her, there were only a couple of you that made it over to crafts, this way you can have a chance to make all of the wonderful things she planned.

·       Don’t forget to be doing all of the other things that can be getting you points for Youth Conference!!

·       This Saturday is another Temple Trip. Please meet here at the church at 9am.

·       Next week the Beehives and Mia Maids will be in here and have a lesson given by the Bishop. The Leaders and Laurels will go to the Visiting Teaching Conference held in the R.S. Room.

·       On August 7^th the College Oak Ward has invited the graduating seniors from the year to attend their Ward that day along with their “Break-the-fast” after church. You will need to RSVP to Sister Cheryl Forbes. They will even be doing some car pooling if you want to go with some of your friends from another ward.

July 10th ~ July 16th

Be sure to come to the Combined YM/YW activity tomorrow at the church at 7pm. We will be washing cars as a service project to those in our ward and community. Please be sure to spread the word!! FREE CAR WASH!!

Young Women please be sure to wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet. No swimsuits please. Also if you could bring a towel that could be used to dry off the cars it would be greatly appreciated!!

 

We also have a temple trip this Saturday!! Please be at the church at 3:30pm in church dress ready to serve in the temple. The leaders attending will bring the Youth home. If you are going to want to stop and get something to eat after be sure to bring a few bucks. As to if you stop and where will be up to you and the leader you are riding with.

It will be a wonderful experience!!

***Important Girls Camp Information***

Hello Young Women and Parents of our Young Women!!!
Here is the information that you will need to know about girls camp next week:

All gear should be brought to Michelle Murrish's house on Sunday between 3pm-4pm. Double check your packing list, all gear needs to go up on Monday. (If you need her address give her a call)

1st, 2nd and 3rd year girls:
Please be at the San Juan Building at 6:45am on Tuesday July 5th. You will be leaving at 7am sharp!

4th year girls:
You are meeting at 5:45AM at the Stake Center on Mon. Jul. 4th.
They get to bring with them a small backpack with their lunch, two water bottles, sunscreen and gloves. Long  hair needs to be in a pony tail.  Cell phones, and all electronic devices should stay at home or they will be conviscated and returned after camp ends.  Pants and closed toed shoes are mandatory.  Layered tops with a jacket or sweatshirt.

Drivers will be taking all girls home from camp at 10:30am (It takes about 2 hours to get home).

June 26th ~ July 2nd

·      For the Laurels and Priests there is a Mission Prep class at 2:15pm on Sunday 6/26 in the Primary Room.

·    This Wednesday we will be having a swim party at Sister Cashdolllar’s house at 6:30pm. Please bring something to share with everyone so we can swim, eat and visit.

Hello Girls...sorry this post is the day before our activity. It is CLASS ACTIVITIES this week.

Beehives: Meet at 7pm at Sister Pucilowski's house.
Mia Maids: Meet at 7pm at the church with Sister Pope and Sister Anderson.
Laurels: Meet at 7pm at Sister Foutz's home and please remember to bring a binder.

Hope you all make it to your activities because they will all be so much fun.

May 22nd ~ May 28th

·    This Wednesday’s activity will be at the church at 7pm. We will be making bracelets and passing of one or more of the Choice and Accountability 1, 2 or 3 in your personal progress books. Please be sure to bring your books.

·    Next Sunday is the 5^th Sunday so there will be no Young Women’s. The Youth and Adults will be combined the 3^rd hour of church.

 Girls Camp Kick off.
(YCL's need to be there at 5:30.)

This Wednesday we are meeting at the Montcurve park for some Capture the Flag with the Young Men. Hope to see you all there!!

May 1st ~ May 7th

·    A big thank you to all of you that showed up to the Mormon Helping Hands! We had a great time re-painting the World Map at Will Rogers!!

·    This Wednesday is the Stake Young Women Recognition “What’s in your purse” night. Please remember to prepare for what you will display. Please come let Sister Cashdollar know if you have any questions. Casual Dress.

·    This Saturday we will be meeting at 2pm at Sister Cashdollars to make the Mothers day treats that will be passed out next Sunday.

April 24th ~ April 30th

• Wednesday 4/27: Meet at the church at 6:30pm for our Scripture Marathon. Be sure to bring your scriptures, blankets and pillow.
• Friday 4/29: Scout Fundraiser @ 6:30pm. Be prepared for outstanding Dinner, live music and enterainment.  Please support our Young Men, I'm sure they would really appreciate it.
• Saturday 4/30: Mormon Helping Hands. Meet at Will Rogers Middle School at 8am. The service project will go 'till about noon. There will be a luncheon held afterwords. The Young Women are in charge of getting the World Map re-painted on the pavement.

• Please remember to be thinking about, and preparing for what you will display at the Stake Young Women Recognition Night on May 4^th.

Spaghetti Fundraiser Dinner & Cake Auction

Calling all girls in the Del Campo Ward who are going to girls camp. Your services are needed at tomorrow nights Fundraiser so that you can partake in the Donations made by our Ward Members, Family and Friends.

When: Friday April 15th
Where: San Juan Building
What do you need to bring: A dessert to auction off.

IF YOU DO NOT SHOW UP. NONE OF THE $$ GOES TOWARDS YOUR GIRLS CAMP EXPENSES.

You need to be there at 5pm for setting up the cultral hall. Please expect to be there until about 8:30pm so that you can help clean up. The actual Dinner is from 6pm-8pm.

Please be sure to wear CHURCH DRESS to this event.

We look forward to seeing all of you there and are very excited to raise some money for girls camp.

April 10th ~ April 16th

• Wednesday the 13th is the Crystal Apple Awards for 14 and up. The program starts at 6:30pm at the Deseret Building.
• Wednesday the 13th the Beehives are to meet at Sister Pucilowski's house @ 7pm.
• Friday the 15th is our Spaghetti Fundraiser Dinner. The dinner is at 6pm but please plan on being at the Church at 5pm for set up. Please plan on being there until 8:30pm for clean up. Don't forget to make a yummy dessert for the auction.
• Saturday the 16th is the Multi-Stake Youth Dance at the Mormon Center for 14 and up.

Multi-Stake Youth Fireside

This coming Sunday 4/10 there is a Multi-Stake Youth Fireside. It will be held at Mormon Center and it starts at 7pm.

April 3rd ~ April 9th

Hello Girls,

We all hope that you were able to watch General Conference and enjoyed the wonderful words spoken by our Prophet and General Authorities.

We have a couple things going on this week...

• Wednesday April 6th All YW will be meeting at the church for a very cool opportunity. Bro Tenney will be taking 3D pictures of you. All of you will get a free 8.5 x 11 3D portrait of yourself.  We also have a few other fun things to do that night too.
• Saturday from 9am-11pm there is a Girls Camp ALL STAFF meeting at the church. Please be sure to be there.

Also please be aware that the Crystal Apple Awards are coming up next week on the 13th.

March 27th ~ April 2nd

It's Personal Progress Wednesday, 3/30/2011 for Mutual this week.  Please remember to bring your Personal Progress Book.  We are going to conduct interviews and update the poster.

We are also going to be preparing a yummy dessert.  Please remember to bring a scrunchy to pull your hair back.

If you haven't already turned in your papers for Girls' Camp, please bring with you on Wednesday and give to Sister Murrish or any of the leaders.

Don't forget, General Conference this week-end, 4/2 & 4/3.

New Beginnings

Please come to our "Value Mall" for our exciting New Beginnings program. It will be at the church on Sunday 3/27 at 7pm. All Young Women and their Families are invited to attend. Please come and shop 'til ya drop.

Hors d'oeuvres & The Young Women Broadcast

Please come and enjoy Hors d'oeuvres at Kristi Hill's House at 3:30pm today. We ask that each family bring an hors d'oeuvres to share. This event is for our Young Women and their Mothers. We will then head over to the San Juan Building for The Young Women Broadcast that begins at 5pm. We hope to see all of you there.

"Dance For Me" on Friday

~ All practices & the performance will be held at the Stake Center (SJ) 

~ Youth 14 & up

• Practice - Friday 3/25 @ 6-7 p.m.
• Dinner (Pizza) - Friday 3/25 @ 7-7:30 p.m.
• Performance - Friday 3/25 @ 8pm.

Don't forget to bring your shoes...

It may sound odd, however we ask that each young women bring an extra pair of shoes to church on Sunday (March 27th) for our New Beginnings Program that evening. You can have your shoes back once the evening is over! Don't miss it...it will be so much fun for you and your parents!

Practice "Courage to Stand"

If we could ask all of the Young Women to stay after church (March 20th) for about 15 min so that we can practice our "Courage to Stand" song for our New Beginnings program next Sunday. We hope that you are all practicing at home too.

March 20th ~ March 27th

• This Wednesday the 23rd for 14yrs and up there is a Stake Dance Practice 7pm at the Church.
• This Friday the 25th is the “Dance for me” practice at 6pm. The actual Dance will start at 7pm. 
• This Wednesday the 23rd the Beehives will meet at Sister Pucilowski @7pm to watch the Emma Smith movie.
• This Saturday the 26th is our YW Broadcast Meeting. We will be meeting before the broadcast for hors’dourves at Kristi Hill's house @ 3:30pm. We ask that each girl/sisters bring a dozen hors’dourves to share.
• Sunday the 27th is our New Beginnings program, here at the church @ 7pm for you and your families. Get ready to "Shop 'til you drop".

March 13th~March 19th

Hello Del Campo Young Women and welcome! This is where you can come to see what is going on in your program. Please feel free to leave comments on this post or any future post. Here is what is going on this week!

• BYC Sunday the 13th @ 2:15am for all of the Class Presidents.
• Wednesday the 16th here at the church @7pm is the 1st Stake "Dance for Me" practice for 14yrs and up.
• The Beehives will meet at Sister Pucilowski's house on Wednesday evening @7pm for their activity.
• This Saturday the 19th there is a "Dance for Me" practice from 8:30am-11:00am.
• This Saturday the 19th there is a Youth Dance at the Mormon Center at 8:30pm.
• YW Broadcast is coming up on the 26th @5pm. We will meet about 3:30pm and have hors'dourves together. Everyone should bring a dozen of something to share
